Festival of Lights 2008
The Festival of Lights was a memorable event hosted by H.E Ambassador of India Hemant Singh and Mrs. Singh in their beautiful residence. Guests were treated to an address by M.S. Swaminathan, the renowned scientist and humanist who is the inspiration for our Foundation. Radhika Jha gave a stunning performance of a rarely seen Odissi dance. Over ￥6,000,000 was raised which will benefit our various projects including the formation of micro-credit banks and the support of micro-enterprises in rural areas of South Asia.
