CASCADE OF UPSKILLING

In Our Cascade of Upskilling program, people teach others the skills they have to earn SoCCs, or social capital credits, our community currency for social good. They can then spend SoCCs on their own education, upskilling, certification, or micro loans for their businesses.

Cascade of Upskilling: Young people earn SoCCs for training others, and redeem SoCCs to increase their own skills, education and certifications

Cascade of Upskilling: System of Rice Intensification

Women are earning SoCCs for establishing bird perches in their rice fields and home-made sticky traps for natural pest control, install structures to reduce firewood use in their kitchen, construct vanarai bunds to reduce water run-off and plant native trees in their farmlands.

Digital Literacy Through Low-Cost Tech Solutions

Adolescent young girls earn SoCCs by mentoring or tutoring two younger children. They can redeem for Kids Who Kode Digital Literacy classes.

Organic Kitchen Gardens

450 women have set up kitchen gardens where they grow vegetables to increase their families nutrition and achieve financial independence.
