ENHANCING BASIC LANGUAGE & MATHEMATICAL SKILLS OF STUDENTS FROM RURAL SCHOOLS.
Welcome to our groundbreaking initiative, "Cascades of Learning with Social Capital Credits (SoCCs)," currently being implemented within schools across Bihar and Rajasthan. This visionary project holds a dual mission: to cultivate peer learning dynamics through the innovative "cascade of learning," driven by the dynamic force of SoCCs, while concurrently elevating foundational numeracy and language skills in younger students. Simultaneously, it provides older students with a unique avenue for contribution and advancement. As an ongoing endeavor, elder students actively participate in tutoring two younger peers from their own school, thereby earning invaluable SoCCs that encapsulate both recognition and personal growth. These earned SoCCs serve as keys to unlocking a world of enriching experiences, spanning educational excursions to historical landmarks, enlightening museum journeys, the acquisition of sports kits, and empowering introductory computer classes – all thoughtfully designed to inspire holistic development. The success of this initiative thrives on the harmonious partnership between educational institutions and Asia Initiatives.
