CASCADE OF UPSKILLING: SoCCs FOR SKILL-BASED LEARNING & TRAINING FOR MAKING YOUTH EMPLOYABLE.

Introducing the "Cascade of Upskilling through SoCCs (Social Capital Credits)" initiative - a dynamic effort aimed at addressing the employment and skill development hurdles confronted by the youth in India.

This project sets out to enhance the employability of young individuals through skill-based learning and training, significantly boosting their potential for secure employment. It focuses on refining communication skills, nurturing essential human-centric competencies, fostering insights into corporate practices and internal operations, and illuminating sector-specific job openings.

The initiative spans a diverse range of youth, ranging from early school leavers to those who've discontinued their education at secondary and upper primary levels. Additionally, it extends to educated youth currently grappling with unemployment. Collaborative efforts involve close cooperation with educational institutions, governmental bodies, private agencies, and industry partners to bridge the gap between workforce demand and supply.

The overarching mission is to elevate the percentage of employable youth across India, especially among women, while simultaneously reducing the youth unemployment rate. The program is designed to address the challenges faced by young individuals in acquiring employable skills in various sectors and to improve their job prospects. The platform is intended to provide comprehensive skill development and services, supporting youths in securing internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
